As a Wildlife and Conservation Biology major at Ohio University, anyone might guess that I would belong to OU’s Wildlife Club. This club isn’t just for Wildlife majors though, you don’t even have to be a biology or any science major to be in it! As long as students are interested in learning about different animals from around the world, they can join.
Meetings are every Thursday at 8 pm, and usually run anywhere until 8:30 or 9:00. Topics include an “animal of the week”, upcoming events, and a cute or funny video of the animal of the week. Sometimes, the meetings consist of a night hike at the Ridges, Animal Jeopardy, or watching different episodes of National Geographic’s “Planet Earth” series.
